Presented by Rupa Datta and produced by Camellia Productions, Kolkatai Sherlock promises to explore a mysterious story rooted in Kolkata and its distinctly Bengali atmosphere.
The film’s tagline, “Nothing is elementary anymore. Sherlock’s Kolkata connection finds a method. The mystery begins in Kolkata,” hints at a fresh interpretation of the legendary detective’s connection with the city.
The logo launch marks the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign and sets the tone for a story involving strange deaths, an actor and an unmistakable Bengali backdrop. While the makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot and characters, the Sherlock Holmes connection has already generated curiosity among Bengali cinema audiences.
